Open the valve to drain it.Wash the outside of the bag in warm, soapy water.To clean the inside, close the valve and pour warm, soapy water into the bag.Swish the water around to clean the whole bag.Open the valve to drain the soapy water into the toilet.Close the valve. Pour the cleaning solution your healthcare provider has recommended into the bag.Swish the cleaning solution around to clean the whole bag.Let the bag sit for 30 minutes.Open the valve to empty the bag. Rinse out the inside of the bag with cold tap water.Hang the bag up to drain and air dry.
